How to order a painting

Order a painting is easy to do. All you have to do is:

1. Find a good quality picture

Take your time to find a good quality picture of your object. The picture had to be in format GIF, JPEG or PNG. The size of the picture can't be bigger than 10 MB (About a full quality JPG photo from a 5 Mega Pixel camera), but must be good enough to see all details clearly. If you have a bigger picture than 4 MB you have to make it smaller. The picture should be in a good quality and as sharp as possible. The object should be in center. If you send as a picture thet isn't good enough we will ask you to send us a better photo.

We can't handle non-digital photos, so if you have a photo on paper, you have to scan the photo. Then you can send us the scaned copy.

You can photo edit your picture to add the effect you want to have on your oil painting. If you have problem with your photo, please contact us and we will assist you in the photo edeting process.

2. Find right object in our shop

Artbyweb offers different paintings in different sizes. All paintings are basically hand made oil paintings on canvas, but they vary in size and motive.

Decide your size, orientation and number of peoples/objects on your picture

The sizes of your painting is different from the small 30x40 cm to the biggest 60x80 cm painting. Orientatiton your paining inn Landscape (picture with longest side down like a TV-screen) or Portrait (picture with short side down, like a normal A4 document). You must also tell us how many people there is on your photo to paint. This is so you pay the right fee, since the price of your painting will increase if you have more people in your painting.

Submit your photo and info

On the product page you have to the right an upload box where you can upload your photo to us. You can't put the painting in the cart befor you have submitted a photo. You have also a line under where you can sumbit special info like signature etc.

Now your tailor made painting is ready to order. Just add the painting to the cart and then follow the steps in the checkout process.

3. Quality check

About one week after your payment are send to us, you will have a almost ready painting. Then you will get an email with a picture of your painting. Here you have a chance to make chages to your painting if you find that somehting is not ok. After you send us your corrections, it will take another day or two to finalize the picture and then it will be send to you.
